This is a sparring class so prior experience is recommended
We have limited equipment you can borrow, otherwise we require 16oz gloves and shinpads as well as a mouthguard. Groin guards are also recommended for safety for men.
If you do not have a mouthguard, rounds will be without head contact
Leg lock seminar with David Stoilescu at Forza Jiu Jitsu
We are thrilled to welcome David Stoil back to Sydney, following an intensive 3 month training stint in the US at Kingsway Jiu-Jitsu under the guidance of John Danaher and Gordon Ryan, as well as at Vanguard Jiu Jitsu with Jason Rau. He is widely respected for his expertise in leg lock submissions and will be hosting a special seminar at Forza.

Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) classes are separated by age groups, 4-6 year, 7-10 years and 11-15 years to give children suitable training partners their age and size. Kids will learn to interact with other children and coaches and learn new fun and exciting skills.
Adults BJJ classes are broken up into Beginners, Intermediate and Mixed level.
Beginners classes are suitable for those of any skill level but more for those brand new to the sport teaching the basics and self defense skills and techniques. Classes are designed to teach a small section of Jiu Jitsu each class, allowing new students to not be overwhelmed. Positional sparring rounds conclude the class, allowing students to practice the techniques taught with resistance.
Intermediate classes teach with more emphasis on the sport side of BJJ with many more techniques. We recommend some experience in our beginners class before starting to attend our intermediate classes although anyone is able to join the class.
Mixed classes are suitable for all levels, from beginners through to advanced students.
We have multiple adults Gi and Nogi (without the uniform) classes throughout the week to suit everyone's preferences, although we recommend you train them both!
Our Adults kickboxing classes are for beginners teaching the basic skills of kickboxing, from strikes such as punches, kicks, knees to clinching and footwork to be able to correctly utilize the techniques. The classes are great for beginners as well as the more experienced as it allows them to refine their basic skills to a higher level.
Students will also apply their basic skills of kickboxing against a resisting and moving partner. Through restricted rounds of sparring, students will develop specific skills, techniques and timing in a safe manner, as well as through free open rounds.
Open mat sessions are free for all members, allowing for students to utilize the gym space and train to their own pace. All styles can be practiced.
Private lessons are also available at request, subject to coaches availability.
